One of those "bad" Mexican days....which ended rather well...

We bought our glasses this morning and will pick them up tomorrow before leaving for Ajijic.... We next walked to the old bus station in the middle of the city to get a bus to Amatitan, a tequila town on the way to Tequila. It took us awhile to find the station, but when we did, we were told there was a bus in about 15 minutes....in Mexican second class bus time, it was 30 minutes and a change ... read more

I was a primary teacher in a K-12 alternative school. In 2006, I took a leave for four months, travelling through Central America. I visited schools and studied Spanish along with being a tourist. My class followed my travels through this blog. I have continued to use this blog to keep friends, family and my students connected to my travels, recently in Mexico and now Kenya! 2009 I am now retired and my husband and I hope to do even more traveling!
