We farewelled our fellow cyclists and headed back to our car via the French transport system. A local bus took us to Nimes Railway Station where we boarded a train to Avignon. A short bus ride later we were at the Tour Philippe-le Bel in Villeneuve-les-Avignon where we had parked our car for no charge for a week.
