Egypt General Comments. We have to comment on our very positive general experience in Egypt. We liked Cairo very much. This is a very nice city ( a little too big and busy ) with friendly people, good accommodation and very good food. We love to travel. For the past 20 years or so we have been fortunate to have had the desire and resources to travel to over 40 countries around the world. We recently retired and have spent the last 18 months traveling around most of the USA and Canada, almost full time, and living in our 40" Monaco Motor Coach.
