General Staff Building

I think or if not, it is Imperial Palace. Palace Square dominates the historical center of St. Petersburg. The square is remarkable for its harmonious blend of teh monumental General Staff buidling, the elegant Imperial Palace, the monolithic granite column with the Angle on thetop, which is set in its center to design of Auguste de Montferrand, and the austere building of the Guards Headquarters.

Many have asked if I saw the famous Hermitage Museum, and the answer is no. Not that I had enough time in one weekend to see everything, but as I read more and hear from more of you, it sounds like there are a lot of things I need to go back and see.
