4:30 in the morning - where is the sun?

I'm up.. 4:30 in the morning and I am scanning outside looking for light to beacon into my window but all I see is my white curtain slowly moving. My dog is feeling my movement and comes next to me wagging her tail hoping to go for a walk. Can it be that I am having Sun lag and not jet lag?
