Marguerite's 20th Birthday

A Chinese person's 20th birthday (19 in the West) is a mark of entry into adulthood, much as reaching the age of 21 once did in the West. Consequently, despite the distractions of Xmas and preparing for important exams, we made time to acknowledge this important milestone for a number of my students this week. Here, Marguerite (Yuan Xia) poses in the now infamous "birthday hat".
