Day 31 - The sun does shine on Washington

May 31st 2013
Our last day at Whidby Island and the sun finally decided to come out. It was a balmy 66 degrees and a real heat wave for us… Joe and I were able to get the bikes out and go for a 4 mile ride. Towards the end of the ride I was almost dive bombed by a bald eagle being chased by another huge bird. The eagle was so close to me I had to stop riding and just watch him fly.
