Heading for Wellington and my return flight to Christchurch I followed the East Coast stopped at Napier for one night, an Art Deco?? Town with black sand, sorry folks but it just doesn't hit the spot for me. Next stop was Upper Hutt about a thirty minute drive to Wellington.
