We had a early start to the day and went for a walk to see where Capt Cook first landed in Queensland back in May 1770 (hence the name of the town where we stayed). It was very pretty there but just a bit overcrowded with people, eventhough the caravan park owner told me that this was fairly quiet. We decided to pack up and drive onto Gladstone.
