Bestial statuary near the entrance to “Église Saint-Suliau”

A Griffin (“Le Griffon”) on the left and a Mermaid (“La Sirène”) on the right. The gabled roof sits atop the window to the left of the main entrance. The smaller knob-like carvings that adorn the edges of the gable are typical of the Breton churches we’ve seen.

We thoroughly enjoyed an easy morning as our breakfast wasn’t due until 10.
