Hey, I'm Raven. I have had mixed feelings about this trip for the past few weeks now. Mostly excitement, but some fear as well. I have never been that far out of the country before and I dont have the experience of preparing for something like this. Every year the Compass School's Junior class travels to a Spanish speaking country, this year our group of eight will be traveling to the Dominican Republic to immerse ourselves in the culture and to use our knowledge of the Spanish language as we travel through the cities of Santiago and Santo Domingo, and the rural village of Tres Ceibas.
