The Great Wall at Mutianyu

Thankful for the bastions before the long drop down..

We had initially planned to hike from Jinshanling to Simatai... Thankfully we checked with the Concierge before heading out and found out that Simatai was closed for restoration! We opted to go to the Great Wall at Mutianyu over the one at Badaling as the latter is supposed to be more toursity and crowded. Meatless travelers

We are management consultants from San Francisco. We travel a whole lot for work, but that is nowhere near as much fun as traveling together to countries we have always wanted to visit.
