You've seen glaciers before, I'm betting - was this one worth hitting up as well? (PS do you have an itinerary you can send me, or should I just keep copy/pasting these blog posts? :) )
Perito Morenor glacier Perito Moreno was was better than the ones in new zealand...it is just floating there for you to see and you get so close (balcony's were also really cool for extended viewing) highly recommend it!
Will send you the itinerary
That looks like a painting. I'm fairly sure you guys aren't in Argentina right now - probably just at a museum where you're taking finely-cropped photos.
Completely agree Completely agree with your assessment of BA. It's a nice girl, and I'm glad I went, but I wasn't amazed and was eager to see the rest of the country.
We totally wanted to, and if Cheri had her way we would have!! I had to literally pull Cheri away from the fence. One of the ideas Cheri is considering (and only half kidding here) is to open up a baby animal zoo that will now include baby kangaroos and wallabys as well
Flights A few days before our departure from Bombay to Melbourne (via Bangkok), Thai Airways cancelled their morning flight from Bangkok to Melbourne. That left us with only their redeye which left at midnight the next day. Our 3 hr delays turned into a 18 hr delay in Bangkok. Caused us to lose an entire day, kinda lame
Haha Love this post. And I can see you guys stage whispering "beep beep" a bunch as well!
The camp looks amazing. Is it a tourist trap or a legit refuge/shelter/etc. for elephants?
We are management consultants from San Francisco. We travel a whole lot for work, but that is nowhere near as much fun as traveling together to countries we have always wanted to visit.
We embarked on a 3 month trip around the Asia Pacific in 2012, and used this blog to post pictures and (some) comments for friends and family that want to follow our travels, including our 2-3 week trip around India in an auto-rickshaw!
Nearly a year from our 3 month trip, we have again hit the road for a "de-toxing" trip into the mountains and valleys of Patagonia in Argentina and Chile...... full info

Cool - thanks for sending!
