I climbed these to get to the street and at that top in a small alley was a huge German Shepherd. Huge. And old. And bored. And thankfully, not the least bit interested in me.
Varanasi. There cannot possibly be any place like this on Earth. December 27th 2011 Unfortunately, I don't mean the title of this entry in a good way. But I am glad Annette and I made the effort to go to Varanasi and see the ghats (stairs) and a bit of the city. A bit was enough though. We stayed two nights here.
