Saturday we chose to grab a train from Bangkok to Laos via Nong Khai(Northern Thailand). We decided to treat ourselves to an air conditioned train car with sleeping beds. By taking an overnight train, it saved us from having to pay for a room at a guest house while traveling a great distance. The train cost approximately 30USD each. This travel blog is intended to be a place where we chronicle our November 2011 through the end of March 2012 journey through Southeast Asia and India.
