Skansen, open air museum & zoo
January 24th 2004 When we heard about Skansen, we thought immediately at Bokrijk, which is also an open-air museum, but located in Belgium. Though we had never visited Bokrijk, we thought it would me very similar.
Apparently Skansen was the world's first open-air museum, founded in 1891, located on the island Djurfgafden.
