I can't believe my long anticipated departure is only three days away. By now I can barely think straight, I'm so excited. I'm all packed and I actually have all my ducks in a row, which is unusual for me, I usually leave a lot to the last minute. It's been a dream of mine to visit India for about 25 years. Most people look at me funny when I tell them I want to go to India. It's dangerous, there's disease, poverty, even squalor. Why would I want to expose myself to that. The answer is simple, I love color. India is a riot of color. The saris, the painted temples and buses, billboards advertising the latest Bollywood movie. And the culture is so diverse, so many religions, races and tribes living under each others feet. To me it's incredibly fascinating.
