wow Read every blog entry and was truly feeling like I was there. I'm so happy for you that you were able to experience a dream, you've had for so long. Hopefully I will see lots of pics on Facebook. Love your spirit ... BB
Welcome Home Ruby Ruby darling, I read all your blogs & they were fantastic for me at least. I know nothing about India so I found them to be very interesting. Not as much as you though! You are a brave, soul-searching, far reaching, out-of-the-box, open-minded, open-hearted, on and on and on living soul. Congrats on your finally realizing your long time dream of visiting India. YOU DID IT!, Love Deb
Nice to see some one visiting my country which is not so tourist friendly in terms of facilities. Great to see you enjoyed the trip. Next time try putting Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir (not the song!!)on your list. HP is fascinating while Kashmir is heavenly. And kashmir is not as bad as media reports seem to suggest....infact it is quite tourist friendly. Also try visiting Darjeeling....(even if you don't love tea ).
Best of Luck.
Hi Ruby,
Good to see your still having a good time. We're on Mumbai international waiting for our flight to Paris. Please keep in mind that hotels in Mumbai are expensive, and walk away from the airport for a much cheaper cab or rickshaw. Enjoy! Can't wait to see all your pictures. Don't they sell memory cards there?
Greetings from Anton too, xx!
Hi Ruby!!!
I think that\'s the only way to ride a camel----in a cart----with a mattress! Looks like you are really experiencing India--am so excited for you.

Feedback Ruby:
I commented before and wasn't sure you had received it. Also, I am not sure if everyone can read my comments. I am new to the travel blog. How funny is that? You are comfortably navigating the country of India and I can't even handle the travel blog.
I am sure I speak for others when I say that it is pleasure living vicariously through you. I look forward to each blog. I enjoying as much detail as you can provide. I think it is an awesome journey for you. Of course I am not the type to make such a journey but I always knew you were the type. How cool is it to experience the local culture, the people, the sites, the smells, the customs?
I promise you that most of the people I encounter in my daily life think East Texas is a foreign country. Not exactly broadened horizons down here.
As for myself, my travel experiences are mostly limited to the Hilton experience. I wonder what the Hilton in Chicago is like? I wonder if the Hilton near Radio City has eggs benedict? : ) I wonder if the Altanta Hilton gives you shampoo and mouthwash.? No pay per view is like trying to live without fire : ).
Also, I love the pictures on Kodak. Please keep them coming and give as much detail as your time allows. Thank you for letting me live this through you.
Chris
Good Start Hey Rube, Sounds like things are off to a good start! Enjoyed reading your comments in the blog. Mickey is keeping us up to date on all your movements and the blog is a good way to keep in touch. Enjoyed your comments on Indian cooking. Corriander is a spice that takes getting used to! Tastes a little \"soapy\". Anyway, enjoy and be careful, also when crossing the street, they drive on the other side of the road!
Go, Do. and Enjoy!!! Ruby, I know this is a trip of a lifetime and for someone who has travelled as much as you that is something.....I love your blog and will follow you every step of the way...
Bon Voyage Hi Ruby:
I am very excited for you. Be safe and have a great time. There is zero chance I will ever go to India. So blog a lot and take a lot of pictures. I will follow you everyday. Call me if you run out of money : )
Chris

God Bless, All my love, Debbi xoxoxo
It's been a dream of mine to visit India for about 25 years. Most people look at me funny when I tell them I want to go to India. It's dangerous, there's disease, poverty, even squalor. Why would I want to expose myself to that. The answer is simple, I love color. India is a riot of color. The saris, the painted temples and buses, billboards advertising the latest Bollywood movie. And the culture is so diverse, so many religions, races and tribes living under each others feet. To me it's incredibly fascinating.
