27 September 2011 Another 250k of driving brought us to the medieval town of Cahors built on a promontory formed by a sharp bend in the River Lot. We had intended to stay at the Aire but it was full, so we went to the local campsite and got some relief from the increasingly warm weather by having a dip in their pool.
