We checked our guidebook and map and decided to visit the Château de Brézé as it is less than 10 miles away and therefore an easy day trip by scooter. Bit of a drag getting through Saumur to the road out as Saumur is very much a one-way system and all attempts to go directly across to the road we wanted were foiled.
