In our last epistle we were about to head off to dinner at a carpet seller’s place and we were a bit wary as to what to expect. Our carpet seller friend, Mehmet, seemed nice enough but his invitation came out of the blue and Turkish carpet sellers are a bit like used car salesmen or real estate agents – always selling.
