The Final Tally May 30th 2011 I have added up the daily mileages from the Satmap and it comes to 1013 miles. As the crow flies the distance is about 870 but very welcome diversions to Edinburgh, Mappelwell, Birmingham and the not so welcome ones around the Cornish coves, as demanded by NCR 3, add to the miles. For those of you who have managed to get to this site without knowing what it is about then this is the story.
My name is Jim Morrison and I am planning to do a cycle ride from John o' Groats to Land's End starting on the 13th May May. The main aim is to do the ride for its own sake but it is really great to have the opportunity to try and raise some money for a very wothwhile cause.
