Cycling with the JoGLer Jim, great to cycle with you on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Trust I did not slow you up too much - certainly would have struggled with the 40 ish miles from Bristol to Taunton late Wednesday afternoon so just as well as I was booked on the train back to London! Mind you the cycle from Paddington to Totts and Whets. had its moments!! Lots of luck with the final run in to LE.

windy? Come on Jim! Me and the Field House housemates are thinking of you as the wind buffets around Durham. We're hoping it'll be with you for most of the way!! Use dad as a wind shelter if needs be. x
Thanks and good luck Hi Jim,
I wanted to thank you for an amazing few days cycling. Until this weekend I'd only ridden 20+ miles on two occasions this year. Together, we did 5 such rides in a row. My personal distance record was set on Friday, beaten on Sat, smashed on Sunday and followed by the 85miler on Monday. It was painful but I'm really pleased to have done it. I’ve no doubt that you will complete the challenge. Just don’t forget the snacks.
If anyone reading this is in any doubt about the scale of the challenge that Jim has taken on here I can say from personal experience that it is huge. I spent much of the ride in pain while Jim seemed totally unfazed. Amazing undertaking!
Hope the wind is with you for the rest of the journey.
Good luck,
Ewen
For those of you who have managed to get to this site without knowing what it is about then this is the story.
My name is Jim Morrison and I am planning to do a cycle ride from John o' Groats to Land's End starting on the 13th May May. The main aim is to do the ride for its own sake but it is really great to have the opportunity to try and raise some money for a very wothwhile cause. This is Medic Malawi, and you can find out about them from the following link.
