May 20, 2011 Friday MacDonald Campground, Muncho Lake. Starting mileage at 7863. 46 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Got an early start at 8:30 this morning. Our guidebook warned us in red letters to be aware of wood bison on the road for the next 170 km. We are sisters who began our love of travel with our parents when we were in grammar school. We grew up in Northern California and had traveled most of the Western States and Mexico before the 8th grade.
