Needed the sunblock as it was a scorcher - my knees are still red. Stopped off in Radviliskis to meet a brave young girl along the way. She had drawn some pictures of us on bikes and had a little porcelain gift for each of us plus the mother had brought some hand made cheese. I wrote this travel blog to capture my first charity bike ride around Lithuania that occurred between the 8th and 14th of May 2011 in the vain hope that it would be my one and only major foray into charity fundraising - hmm, we are all now back for May 2012!
