Before we left Arizona for the west coast we made a stop in Flagstaff for a little replacement on our had-been taped up muffler. And what a place to do it—on route 66! Our new shiny part carried us across the desert of Arizona and California. We saw such a variety of cacti and desert flowers along the way.
