Jose our Mexican guide is upset. “All you want is to photograph iguanas!” he looks at our group with their cameras clicking on the iguanas that inhabit the Mayan ruins. It is true. What with the intense heat 30C+ and humid we are not in a condition to take on an ancient civilization fascinating though it may be.
