We flew from Hong Kong to Hanoi in the North and travelled down the East coast to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in the South. Vietnam was a big surprise to me as I have only ever seem it in US war films - instead of it being a war torn country, it was absolutely stunning with a lot of very friendly people.
