Brilliant!!! Me and my wife stumbled on your blog by accident... but we're glad we did. We laughed and laughed! :)
And as for the "abo chasing"... Ha ha... If they weren't nicking tourist's gear there'd be no need to create a whole new sport! Mind you... I bet the local cops get sick of it! ;) Keep up the sense of humour and ignore the tree-huggers... That's TRUE Aussie spirit!! :-D
I think it's great! I think what you said was great.. Your title was catchy, and as an Australian, it made me want to read it!!
You were honest and yes, while you made fun of us, it was in good humour!
For those out there who read this and are disgusted or angry, get a sense of humour!!
Respect for the first Australians Hi...as an Australian I would just like to inform you that it is quite derrogative to call an Aboriginal an Abo....and even more insulting to say that you were Abo chasing. Many people in Australia might also think that this is acceptable but I hope as a tourist you might not take on that narrow minded way of thinking. The aboriginal people have a lot of interesting history and a lot of knowledge about Australia and I hope that during your time in my country you are lucky enough to experience some of this. Thanks Jane
the trip andrew
can i say as anold man, older than your dad! how much i have enjoyed reading your blogs from around the world.
they have been fascinating and its nice to sree you home.
i am sure i will hear more from you over the next few weeks, which are going to be very tame, compared to your adventures over the last 10 months or so

You racist bugger Ha ha, neva noticed this comments bit, you seem to be annoying a few people mr campling. Loved the Peru blog, hope those 'top english girls' aren't toooo hot, im not jealous, i mean their slumbing it in south america with you whilst i sit in the comfort of my kitchen writing an essay and watching countdown... shit.
Loving the poncho Hey babes,
Have started my first week as a researcher. Its awesome! People think that slavery was abolished in the 1830s but in TV we're still enslaving runners.
But reading your blog makes my job sound incredibly dull and shit - did I mention I work with Gordon Ramsay? Girls Aloud have been in, Dawn French, Dom Jolly, but you still make it feel dull.
I love ya honey, cant wait to see you. Enjoy the rest of your trip x
happy birthday hey Andy, happy birthday for Saturday, hope you have a great time. We all love these blogs you do, gives us a chance to see places I know I will never get to see. One thing I do wonder about is, how are you getting internet connection, did Mama have a cool computer set up in her home? Looking forward to next blog. Take care Andy Love and Huggs, Karen, Andy, Charlee and Jack.
You are soooooooo rude!!!! In case you missed the memo, pommie, it's rude to talk about someone else's country in the manner that you do. If you don't like it, GO HOME!!!
P.S. You guys suck at cricket!
u dirty little nose picker all sounds very dull to me, all those beaches - not remotely surprised that your bored. I myself would hate it, especially all the sun ... ANDY! What are you like?! x x
You fulfilled your dream so what is next?? hey babes, I liked this blog best of all I think its because you mentioned the Aussies always taking the piss out of you. Haha. Miss you babes, times is tough in London without job security . . . Channel 4 have me at their whim. Will email you an essay soon x x x
Merry Christmas Hiya Andy, hope you have a great Christmas, and that the rest of your trip is as interesting as you have shown in these blogs.
Thinking of you over the festive season (not any other time though) ha!
Lots of Love and huggies, Karen, Andy, Charlee and Jack.
P.S wish my tits were as good as dave and his mates!!!!!!
Sorry! Hi,
I think you miss understood my blog. The 'dirty people' I referred to are the western tourists not the Thai people. I actually love Thailand and especially the people. I hope you understand and sorry for upsetting you.
ladt boy???!! looks like your having a fantastic time mate, think i will be in thailand in feb some time. hope it stays as exciting, and watch out for them lady boy!!, they even have me fooled!! take care. p.s keep growing the barnet, i want something to work with when back.!!
Hey dude! I, as a Thai citizen, really don't like the way you stated about Thai people and Thai girls. The word 'dirty people' and some statements you wrote about girls really make me feel so bad. BKK is NOT full of dirty people. There are still lots of good people here. You know, next time if you are about to visit other foreign countries, you should have POSITIVE attitudes towards their people and be MUCH MORE OPEN-MINDED!
I wish I was there! Hey hun,
Just wanted to tell you that I am currently sitting at work looking out of the window overlooking St Peter's Way and what used to be Mooch or Hanrahans, its grey, miserable and windy and Im seriously wishing I'd gone ahead with applying for Shipwrecked after seeing this!
Hope ur being sensible and careful babe, remember - a bottle of gypsy tears won't really protect you from diesases, unless there from Khazicstan, but I dont think ur going there are you? Oh well, wrap it up before u slap it up and remember crack is whack - holla!
take care kid,
love anna xxxxxx
