He is 6 months old, and at this age, would not ever lose physical contact with his mother. So Gila, one of the volunteers, is acting as a surrogate mother. His mohter was probably killed and eaten by hunters

Hey folks, thanks for the comments! So i wrapped up my shivering and my Spanish lessons in Cuenca, and sadly said goodbye to my teacher.
