Truman Library

The library is in Independence, MO

August 9—I said goodbye to Bonnie and headed south to Independence, Missouri, home to Harry Truman's library, home and gravesite. For those who may not know, Independence is a suburb of Kansas City on the Missouri side. I crossed the Missouri River again to get to Independence. Widowed in 2008, I decided to pursue the dream my husband and I had of traveling. I took to the road in a 24 foot RV and haven't looked back.
