The Gelato Gang

No sooner did we get to the Piazza then we started looking for something cool. We found a fantastic gelato shop with huge portions and reasonable (for Rome) prices. Best of all they put a tiny little cone on top of your dish of gelato. I ordered Nutella again and what I didn't drop on my shirt and pants tasted magnifico. While we sat down and pigged-out we saw half our group passing by our door with gelato cones in their hands.
Day Six (Thursday)

As if the regular Italian breakfast wasn't bad enough, our otherwise wonderful hotel didn't have a breakfast room that could accomodate our group. We had to walk two blocks to a tiny strip mall. The empty lots we passed were chock full of empty bottles, cardboard boxes, dog crap and waist high weeds.
