on the way to Jesenice

A rather complicated trip yesterday. Leaving Trieste with the 8.56 to Gorizia. Citybus to station Nova Gorica and finding out that you are in a different EU country. Slovenia. At Nova Gorica I took the train to Jesenice, 90 km 18 stations and two hours further. I had 5 minutes to change the train to Belgrade where I arrived midnight. In my previous life I worked for a more or less big company. Since about 8 years travelling is one of the things I try to do as much as possible. Every year I try to make at least one big trip by train. I did already the Orient expres route in normal trains, all the trains in Australia. Around Scandinavia and last year around UK.
