On the way to the monastery, I started to wonder why all of these dogs were patiently waiting. Taking another look, I noticed that these people were working and cleaning carcasses on the side of the road.

One of the lesser known sights for tourists, and lesser encouraged holy places in Lhasa, Tibet, is the Sera Monastery, located on the outskirts of the city, on the base of steep mountain ridges.
