Ho Hum Day, but Heading for Home

We left Mitchell, SD, and drove east to I-29. Then it was south through Iowa, with lots of corn and soybeans. They've had a lot of rain and many of the crops are washed out. What a shame. I did see a deer in a bean field, but it looked rather bored, too. We're in Missouri, at St. Joseph, and will pass through Kansas City before turning east toward St. Louis tomorrow.
