Well here we are in very sunny and warm Darwin. Wes is prancing around like a spring lamb just because he can now wear his shorts full time (although he has been able to do that since Katherine - it obviously takes a while for him to trust that it’s not going to get cold again!) We are embarking on stage two of our trip around Oz, interrupted at end of 2006 by sale of house and work - yes work, how inconvenient. Having covered up the middle of Oz, down the west coast and back along the Nullabor to home, this time we are heading through outback NSW and Qld to get the Gulf (Karumba) then across the Savannah Way to Cairns where we leave the caravan and head up to Cape York using the roof-top tent (to avoid the crocs).
