Pop it in Pete Okay you guys, Wes and Colin are now a year older, surely its time to slow down and behave yourselves now (Fun Police!!!). Seriously, we're only jealous reading about your travels. Daniel passed all 10 GCSE's and is now doing 'A' Levels in 6th Form at Methwold High School. Bethany is in year 8 and currently in the running for deputy head!!!. God Speed, Good health and speak to you both soon, take care.
Great Travel Journal AJ, Wes, what a great trip you guys are having. I have enjoyed looking at the pictures of areas of Australia that are so off the beaten track. Your continent is so beautiful. Take care.
Green We are still enjoying every entry though green with envy.
An illustration travel book must follow this.
Love to you both, Jean and Bob, not so sunny England
See Silly, it's always windy in the Whitsundays unless you charter a yacht. Then it's flat calm for 3 days while you wish for wind! That's what happened to Pauline and I in April! Anyway, doesn't matter if it's windy or not, if you are in the Whitsundays it's heaven and if you have sundowners while you're there it's gotta be something beyond. Good luck guys, Pauline is (sea) green with envy and busting to go back there again! Take care. Pete
what the poor people do in their spare time. Wes i noticed at Bathurst you only managed 30 kmp/h, if you ring Terry Wilson at AVO in Melb. he holds the world record for towing a caravan at 240 k with a stinking old six cyl. EA falcon lift your game!
Overland Telegragh Line track Just wandering how many cans you would need to take to tackle the OTL track?
Imagine its a few less if all you can get is XXXX.
Cheers from Devo
IS IT EXPENSIVE I guys. Looks like you are having a great time. Looking for somewhere to relocate to. Port Douglas looks good but out of our budget. Any suggestions? Luv Sue
Hi Amanda and Wes, Just a short note to let you know all @ Heatcool have enjoyed your Blog, It certainly got us thru those cold winter days when the phone was going crazy, I am glad you both have had a wonderful time and we hope Wes will be ready for the Summer Rush!!!!
Ps: Did you like the BOWENWOOD sign as you entered the town?
Graeme has asked if Wes has a return date yet!!!!!!!!
Take Care, Regards Gerry
Well done! Hey guys,
Thanks for sharing all of that.
I need a holiday at the moment and sharing yours isn't quite there, but it certainly helps. Well done on getting there and back without much more than a few annoying bites.
I look forward to the next stage.
Cheers
Pauline
AWESOME The blog is fantastic and would love to see the DVD. We are happy to suffer through it! Duane loved the thong tree. Maybe we could tag along in a few years. Can't believe the crossings. Would love to see our Nissan Patrol through some of them. Great stats looking forward to more. So hungry to travel again!
Hi there! thanks for sendign this through- looks absolutely awesome and making me very jealous as I sit here in my office at almost midnight catching up on work!! It's cold and miserably cold outside too........ so it was lovely to receive your blog with so much SUN. Think that poor 4WD needs a wash!
ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY

It doesn't compare to a soggy week in Yorkshire!!! Great to catch up with your movements, not at all jealous!!. Continue having a great time, and yes Bethany has been watching Love Actually.
A great Travel Tale in progress! Hi, we too are enjoying the tale. Your writing style and photos let us experience the feel of the people and places. I envy you your experience but don't have your guts with regard to the van towing aspect (or the drop toilets! I can imagine Ethan and curisoty combined).
Keep on enjoying yourself and take care
Love the Morris'
We are embarking on stage two of our trip around Oz, interrupted at end of 2006 by sale of house and work - yes work, how inconvenient. Having covered up the middle of Oz, down the west coast and back along the Nullabor to home, this time we are heading through outback NSW and Qld to get the Gulf (Karumba) then across the Savannah Way to Cairns where we leave the caravan and head up to Cape York using the roof-top tent (to avoid the crocs). Then we will mosey on back down the east coast to Melbourne. Goals: Learn to surf (properly), a glass or two of vino, regular golf, a glass of two of vino... full info
