Short drive - leisurely start. “Informational Irene” (my GPS) wanted me to take I-35 to Austin. I plugged in Nixon TX as a waypoint to avoid the Interstate. We ended up going southeast on US 181 to Floresville, northeast on TX 97 and east on US 87 to Nixon. There we turned north on TX 80.
