In Zid!
March 22nd 2010 Welcome to New Zealand - or “In Zid” as the locals call it.
The place is beautiful but you do need to overcome the “In Zid” accent. It is quite simple really. Replace the letter ‘e’ with an ‘i’. So basically, ten dollars, becomes ‘tin dollars’.
