July 15 - Camped at Dawson Peaks Resort. Fun place, bears prowling around my tent at night, had
to yell at them to go away, loud growl in response. Only two campers in tents, everyone else safe
in their freakin' RV's. Found a couple of decent size roaches in my campsite...burned them... :)

These are the photos I took on my ride from Bandon, OR to Homer, Alaska in July 2006. I rode solo on my new Kawasaki Ninja 650R, camping along the way or grabbing a motel if the weather turned nasty. During the 4 week journey I covered over 7000 miles and had a great time, met new friends and got to see a part of the world I hadn't been to before. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Hi! Since retiring I've left the big city and now live near Bandon, OR on the Southern Oregon coast. I'm finally getting the chance to travel around, usually with Linda, my other half & best friend in the whole world.
