Die Englischer Garten

Larger than even Central Park. This is a bad picture because I tried to take it covertly. All along the river people sunbathed and swam, everybody lazing around. A great park, every city should have one like it. There's even a part where they use ropes on the river to let people surf.

Munich was an odd city. I found out that lots of "German" things- lederhosen, pretzels, weisswurst, etc., are actually Bavarian, which is conservative and talks different, so it is basically the it is like the American south.
