We left Alice Springs and headed north passing through a place called Wycliffe Wells where they have the most UFO sightings in Australia. Coincidentally, they also have a the largest range beers at the pub there and they’re not sure if the two are connected! We are embarking on stage two of our trip around Oz, interrupted at end of 2006 by sale of house and work - yes work, how inconvenient. Having covered up the middle of Oz, down the west coast and back along the Nullabor to home, this time we are heading through outback NSW and Qld to get the Gulf (Karumba) then across the Savannah Way to Cairns where we leave the caravan and head up to Cape York using the roof-top tent (to avoid the crocs).
