Friday I caught up with some friends from Wollongong, Rebecca and Ebony, for the most Aussie of traditions, the BBQ. I met Bec after work at the Deutsche Bank in the centre of London's CBD. I was set to jet overseas Monday afternoon. With only 1 game of basketball on the Sunday before I left for 5 weeks overseas, how could anything possibly go wrong?! It was then that Murphy's Law (and gravity) kicked in to throw everything into chaos! 5 minutes into the second quarter of the basketball game, I rolled my ankle after landing on an opponents foot, and felt something snap.
