Kampot and Phnom Penh
February 19th 2010 Hi everyone, we have spent two nights at Kampot in gorgeous accomodation down by the river, for only $5.00 a night. It was an idyllic setting about 8km out of town so when we arrived we hired a honda xr 250 dirt bike to get to and from and up into the mountains.Kampot architecture is French colonial style but quite damaged which is a real shame, most damaged caused by the Khmer Rouge.
