The Ouray Ice Park

The Ouray Ice Park is a free climbing area for ice climbers. Ice climbs form naturally as waterfalls freeze up in the winter. At the Ouray Ice Park city pipes bring water to the top of the cliff to make more ice. The entire canyon is blanketed in ice for about a quater mile. People come from all over the world to climb here becuase it is the highest concentration of ice climbing anywhere.
