On Thursday we had a glorious day on Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland. For Ireland, the weather was as good as it gets. About 68 degrees, with sunshine and blue sky, light white clouds, and a refreshing breeze. We took a bus from Galway, and then a ferry to the island. June 1, 2012: I am heading off to Ireland again, this time for five weeks, with a group of students from my college in Vermont. I won't have time to post a lot, and I won't repeat much info that I covered in 2009. Enjoy.
Before this year, there were three parts to this blog. In 2009, I spent three weeks (July 3 - 28) in Ireland with students from my college and my colleague, Mike.
