6-10-06 At the grocery store, we were going to buy some meat. When we arrived they were serving number 93. We took a number and were number 47. “What does this mean?” I asked in Spanish. I am a 3rd year student studying international economic development at Georgetown University. I decided to take a semester off so that I could give 7 months of pure service. I will be working with La Familia Fabretto (www.fabretto.org) that helps over 4000 children in 5 sites in Nicaragua obtain higher quality education. I'll be teaching English, acting as a volunteer coordinator, and conducting thesis research.
