On the 25th of April me, John, Meryl and Jeanette went to Old Cairo for the Anzac dawn parade. We left Zamalek at 5.15am the Saturday morning, it was a cool morning and so quiet not the usual shambolic traffic and the noise of ten thousand horns all tooting at the same time, it was so peaceful.
