Point Moore Lighthouse

A Geraldton icon. This pre-fabricated steel tower built in the UK, was erected on site in 1878 and stands 34 metres tall. Its beam can be seen 26km out to sea. The recently repainted structure is the only one of its kind in WA.

Sunday 17th May, 2009 Today we are off on our caravan trip heading north and eventually going through the centre of Australia to the south coast, returning via Esperance before returning sometime in September.
