Global Warming or Voodoo?
May 4th 2009 I awoke in the middle of the night to a large crashing sound. It lasted nearly five minutes. It was, strangely, thunder. This was odd for two very important reasons.
1) Zambia (as with most parts of Sub-Saharan Africa) has two distinct seasons: Rainy season, and dry season. In the rainy season it rains all the time. In the dry season it does not rain. At all.
2) It is currently dry season.
